Mary Riegle serves as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Lighthouse, where she oversees all fund development initiatives and leads a team responsible for special events, annual giving, corporate relations and volunteer engagement.
Mary has over 20 years of broad fund development experience, and most recently served as the Director of Policy and Development at the Downtown Detroit Partnership. Prior to working in the nonprofit field, Mary was a teacher. She holds a master’s degree in history from the University of Toronto and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
During the last decade, Mary has been involved with her children’s school and community, and served as an elected board member of the Ferndale Area District Library. In her free time, Mary likes to travel and spend time outdoors.
