Dedicating her professional career to serving those in need, Jenny Poma has been working in the homeless and social services field for over 14 years. A leader within her community, over her career Jenny has worked to build programming that once served 200 neighbors in need annually to a suite of programs serving 30,000 people annually. Jenny focuses on results for those in need. Her leadership has resulted in the development of programs, operations, grants, and performance measurement around emergency shelter, supportive housing, and long-term stability programs all aimed at assisting households experiencing poverty regain stability. Jenny earned her MSW from Wayne State University where she focused on non-profit management and community engagement. Jenny works to improve her community through not only her professional career but her personal life. A proud City of Detroit resident for over 15 years, Jenny and her family actively work to build community where they live.
