Our Adopt-a-Family program has changed!
Lighthouse is excited to provide holiday cheer to hundreds in need this December – in a brand new way.
To make this holiday season even more special, Lighthouse has introduced a new way for families to experience the joy of giving. Instead of pre-selected gifts, the Adopt-a-Family program will offer gift cards to those we serve. By providing gift cards, instead of presents, Lighthouse clients can have the dignity and independence to purchase the items that will be best for their family/household. We believe this new approach will enrich the holiday experience and offer greater flexibility, ensuring that every family can enjoy the season in their own unique way.
While we know our donors enjoy holiday shopping for their specific adopted families each year, this new program will provide the best possible experience for our clients. If holiday shopping brings you joy, there will still be opportunities to contribute donated items!

All items should be new and unwrapped.
Your gift to our Holidays Unwrapped program will help us provide holiday cheer to local families and individuals in need this year. It will also help support their stability and future through Lighthouse.

If you are interested in donating gift cards to our holiday program, we recommend chain stores or easily accessible locations – such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, Meijer, etc. Please be sure to write the total balance on the gift card in sharpie or provide the receipt with the total included.
We will need to confirm all gift card balances before providing donation receipts.
Gift cards will be able to be dropped off during our holiday donation drop-off days or mailed to us at:

If you are interested in supporting our holiday program by donating new, unwrapped Wish List items, please fill out our drop-off registration form to choose your drop-off date and time. If you have any questions, please reach out to our team at holiday@lighthousemi.org.
You can also purchase items from our Amazon Wish List, which will ship directly to us!
Donations for our holiday programs cannot be dropped off at our pantry locations.
