The Pontiac Neighborhood Fund (PNF) Steering Committee is seeking an experienced consultant or consulting team to help build the foundation for one of Pontiac’s most ambitious neighborhood revitalization efforts.
This opportunity is ideal for consultants with experience in governance development, stakeholder engagement, meeting facilitation, and collaborative community planning. The selected consultant(s) will help establish the governance structure that will guide the Pontiac Neighborhood Fund for years to come while supporting cross-sector collaboration among public, nonprofit, and community partners.
A Collaborative Vision for Pontiac
The Pontiac Neighborhood Fund was designed to strengthen neighborhoods by aligning public and private investment around shared community priorities. Rather than working independently, partners are aligning resources, expertise, and decision making to create lasting neighborhood change driven by community priorities.
The collaboration includes Community Housing Network, Lighthouse MI, OLHSA, the City of Pontiac, Oakland County, Centro Multicultural La Familia, Micah 6, and the Oakland County Land Bank Authority, all working together toward a shared vision for neighborhood growth.
Building the Framework for Lasting Impact
As the initiative moves into its next phase, the Steering Committee is seeking support to formalize its governance structure, clarify decision making processes, and establish a Community Advisory Committee with representation from each Pontiac City Council district. This work will help ensure neighborhood voices remain central as community plans are developed and implemented.
The governance framework will also support the coordination of Pontiac-specific revolving loan funds that will invest in affordable housing, neighborhood revitalization, and small business growth while helping partners work together more effectively over the long term.
This partnership is laying the groundwork for coordinated, community-informed investment that will help Pontiac neighborhoods thrive for generations to come.
